Funds raised through the BC Trappers Association raffle support conservation, wildlife management, research and education throughout British Columbia.
Through our Conservation & Habitat Management initiatives, the BCTA supports Ungulate Enhancement programs, furbearer research, and ongoing collaboration with government and the forestry sector to protect wildlife habitat and encourage responsible land-use practices.
Raffle proceeds also help deliver the Trapper Education Program, school and youth education, and training that promotes ethical, responsible trapping and passes generations of wildlife knowledge on to the future.
Our Wildlife Conflict Operators Program provides education and training to help communities responsibly manage nuisance wildlife and reduce potentially dangerous human-wildlife interactions.
